2010 Legislative Summit

NWC’s 2010 Legislative Summit provided a forum for dynamic and insightful presentations on the sweeping array of legislative and policy changes under consideration by Congress and the Administration. The keynote speaker was The Honorable John L. Mica, Ranking Member, Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, U.S. House of Representatives. Other Federal speakers included senior leadership of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Congressional staff. Additional speakers discussed levee safety issues, state interest in water policy and marine transportation infrastructure challenges. The Summit closed with inspiring presentations by former Assistant Secretaries of the Army (Civil Works), the Honorable Robert Dawson and the Honorable John Paul Woodley, Jr.
