Funeral Arrangements

Wednesday, August 15 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. followed by a service at 6 p.m. Both to be held at Arlington Funeral Home, 3901 Fairfax Drive, Arlington, Virginia 22203. Phone 703.522.1441. Worth will be buried on Saturday in her hometown of Asheboro, North Carolina.

"On behalf of her many friends and colleagues at the National Waterways Conference, I want to express our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Worth Hager. As an advocate for common sense waterways policies and programs for most of her professional career, Worth used her knowlege, skills and enthusiasm effectively - most notably with the Corps and Congress. Perhaps her strongest legacy will be that she empowered others to do so. She was a friend and mentor to so many. Her tireless efforts and significant contributions will not be forgotten."

Scott Robinson, Chairman
National Waterways Conference
